Hey all..
My mom has a meeting in Granbury this weekend. I was thinking of tagging along and taking my teen girls. I was wondering if there are things for them to do there or if they would be bored?
Can someone give me some insight as to what there is to do in the town of Granbury? (without driving into Ft Worth, etc..) Thanks!!
**ps....Need a hotel recommendation please for 2 adults and 2 children

Google Granbury and find the city's info site
lots of little shops around the square--some restaurants
makes a nice weekend if you stay in b/b type place

Ok thanks..We didn't really want to stay in B&B because then we would have to have 2 rooms...any advice on decent hotel?
Aside from the little shops...anything else to do? Or are there plenty of shops to entertain them?

Stay at the Hilton, its new, right on the lake and walkable to city beach, restaurants, and downtown.

weather looks to be nice--you might want to rent boat for part of the time and go on water although skiing would be too cold you could still tour the lake

Tripadvisor has some good info usually
