I'm taking a position at a new place on West 7th, I'm moving from New Jersey and I have never been to Fort Worth before. I'd like to have a short commute to work, and live in a decent part of the city. I'd like to have other people in my age group, mid to late 20's, around me. I'm looking for a single bedroom apartment, maybe 2 if i find a roommate. I can't spend over $500 a month on rent, can anyone help me out on where I should be looking?

there is nowhere safe, close to your job for that price--and few places safe period for that money
and even if you had a roomie--getting by on 1K a mo w/utilities would be difficult

You'd better find a roommate. $500 a month will only get you ghetto accommodations.

The Lofts @ West 7th are brand new... You might check the price on the efficiency. Doubt it is $500 but probably less than $1000. Good luck!

Default Looking for Roomate

I currently live at the Amli 7th Street Station Apartments that are located on 7th street. I am looking for a roommate to start a new lease with to take over the other bed and bathroom. My roomate is moving out in July when our lease ends to relocate to a different division of the company we work for. I am a middle aged female professional. Currently our rent is 615 each but when incorporating utilities, less than 700. Would you be interested? I just started to look around this week because my roomate got an offer for relocating last week. Oh and i have a fully furnished living room, wash and dryer all kitchen essentials.

Try Craigslist...such offerings are not allowed on C-D if I'm not mistaken.
