Specifically rentals. I saw on here someone had mentioned a site that has a good map search. If anyone can email any good info I'd appreciate it.

Thank you

use GOOGLE maps--
put in address near where you want to live/rent
then SEARCH for rental home
lots of stuff will pop up
can't give any of the listing sites on this forum

many, many, many rentals never have an MLS listing. all the websites such as realtor or sawbuck will only pull up MLS listings. I would drive around in the neighborhood(s) you are interested in looking at for rent signs.

That method worked for me in the past, but doesn't seem to anymore. It will just bring up party rental places, truck rentals, etc. I might be doing something wrong.....it wouldn't be the first time.

it might be that the specific neighborhood you are trying to find rental home in does not have any--
thus the search defaults to other types of rentals

have you driven around the area looking for signs in front yards???
that is what I see when I drive through my area of north Hurst in Mid Cities--the rental homes just stick sign in front yard and most of them are not tied to property management--just phone number for owner

the fort worth paper also has home rentals listed by zip code/towns--you can check that online I think

Hasn't worked for several different neighborhoods. We're coming into town early next month to drive around so that might be the best bet.

Yes. I'm a Land Rover technician. I'd give you all my titles and stuff but that only bores people. We'll try ziprealty. I'm surprised my wife hasn't found that one already.

zip has no rental homes---

you might try some of the local RE agents to see if their local sites list homes for rent

rental market in DFW is hot right now--lots of people moving in who either want to live here for while before buying or who maybe have home they have to sell before they can buy here

many of the better neighborhoods never used to have homes under lease--but were owner occupied--
and not that the selling season is in full swing it might not be as good a time to see rentals on market as it was last year
I would say use a RE site and find couple of homes you like
check those listing RE sites to see if they offer lease homes--if it does not say on site--call the office and ask if they represent owners who lease--
some offices try to avoid having their sellers do that but some are working with the slow selling time and helping owners put homes up for lease--
think it varies very much by area and home price
