Ive been researching and looking online and can't locate a 2 year community college in Flower Mound, or within a 15 mile radius.

Our son is planning on starting a 2 year college within 6-9 months of moving out there.

Can anyone help? You guys have been great so far with all your help.

TIA, JD

North Lake College (part of Dallas Community College) has a small campus in Coppell, not too far from Grapevine Mills Malls. Their main campus is in North Irving. There's a campus of Tarrant County Community college in Hurst, also not too far.

Flowe rmound is in Denton County, which has no community college in the county. You can go to North Lake (Dallas County Community College District) or Tarrant County College, but their out-of-county rate is close to a public university's in-state rate. University of North Texas is in Denton and that's about the same distance from Flower Mound as the 2 community colleges. Your son may as well look at going to UNT.

North Central Texas College opened its Flower Mound campus in Jan 2011. Great location on Parker Square. Contact them for more details:

This is the information your looking for, North Central Texas College is the community college for Denton County. The tuition is $46.00/semester hour. Also, the person above who said the out of county rate at TCCD or DCCCD is about the same as a public university doesn't know what they're talking about. The out of county rate at TCC is $73.00/semester hour, this is not even remotely close to what a public university cost.
