Yes, very. The ones along Lamar between Ballpark Way and Hwy 360 are a great location. They are just across the highway from Six Flags, and near a bunch of restaurants.

If possible, stick to a franchise hotel brand. There are several hotels right in front of six flags (six flags drive), and there are several more on highway 360. Being from this area, I can tell you that there are several hotels on 360 that have recently been ticketed for prostitution and drug dealings.

My personal feeling is to drive 10 mins further from Six Flags, either towards DFW airport or to I-30 and get a hotel there.

they do have partner hotels that offer packages...
you have to ask forthe FUN CENTRAL rates.
Look at Arlington.org for vacation packages. soem are...LaQunita on 6flags drive,Holiday InnExpress,Hawthrone suites, Comfort suites, Courtyard by Marriott etc...
