Bridge to nowhere (Fort Worth, Benbrook: lease, activity, farm)

Anyone know why there is a bridge (and has been for decades) across I-20 coming into Fort Worth heading East (towards Benbrook)? The bridge is just after you go over FM 2871 and before you merge into 820. I looked it up on Bing, Google and Yahoo maps and there is nothing attached to it to the north. To the south it just goes gas well lease roads. Anyone have any info on this bridge?

It looks like the bridge is there because it splits a piece of large farm land. Judging by the satellite photos, the road north of the bridge turns into a network of dirt and possibly gravel trails.

I think there might be (or used to be) plans to extend Team Ranch road south to I-20. Texas RRC maps show Team Ranch taking a southerly route from its current western terminus down to I-20. And google maps shows it stretching up to I-20 from the south. Perhaps the bridge is (or was) the first phase and is currently only used for gas field activity?

I wasn't able to find anything about any plans, but wanted to point out that some maps actually show Team Ranch Rd. going across that bridge. I did notice on aerial photos there appears to be a road scar from Team Ranch Rd. going south to I-20 (roughly following the TXRRC line), so it could very well be the opposite - that the road has been removed to accommodate gas activity.
