Hi,

My husband and I are coming down the weekend after Thankgiving to look at a job that will be off Trinity Ave. in Ft. Worth. I feel so lost at where to look at if we were to move there. I am use to very rural areas and by looking on a map it just all seems so BUSY. Where would be a reasonable place to live that is nice and safe for kids that has a slower pace to it?

The usual comment is to look within the first 20 miles from the office until you find somewhere
you would find comfortable.

We still have rural areas North of Fort Worth within Tarrant or Southern Wise County. Your husband just may have to commute to the job just a little bit further. If you want rural may I suggest Justin, Saginaw or Azle.

What's reasonable? Reasonable is a relative term... Being a little more specific like 150-200K

Thanks for your replies and suggestions. I wasn't clear with my post due to being rushed. We will be looking in the 180k to 200k price range. I am wondering though if we should rent first. I will sort that out after we look around but would like to look in areas with that price range.

Yes, rent first. No question about that.
