I'm currently less than a mile from my office, but my wife is about 21 miles from her work.

Whenever we move, she'll hopefully be within 5 miles of work, and I'll be over 20 miles away.

DH and I are both 24 miles from our respective jobs .. In opposite directions. He works a longer day so goes before and after rush hour, for about a 30 -35 minute commute, North Richland Hills to Aledo.

Mine is across 183 to Preston Center area, Dallas. I leave earlier than needed and generally have a 35 - ro minute am commute. Home is a different story .. Anywhere from 45 min to an hour if I don't stop somewhere along the way. (grocery, book store, any needed errands)

I often ditch 183 for a surface road once I get past DFW. I listen to audio books and realized early on that the commute will be what I make of it. It's not ideal, but it works!
