Great shots of the Southside. This area is where I grew up, and where I plan to stay.
Frankly, I find it a shame so many newcomers and people relocating intra-region bypass such a great inner city for the outskirts...

Most of these shots were around Magnolia.
That, Hemphill/Berry, 8th Av., and Rosedale are going through the same revivals. Some is just taking longer than others....

I live near there too. I love the Usual, as well as Lili's, Cat City, and many others. So neat the way the whole area is being revitalized.

Yeah. That's why I want the city to keep using the Urban Village idea. Looking at the Southside plans, this isn't even HALF of what's planned.

Is that "Face in the Bush" located over by the Chicken Express near Hulen Street? I remember that thing almost a decade ago when I lived over by TCU. I thought it was hilarious. I'm delighted if it's still there. Cheers on the great pics.
