Why worry about what other people think? Do as you please.

If this young man you're interested in has not demonstrated interest in you, then you should not get your hopes up for him. Surely, other eyes out there have seen you. It's just a matter of time before a well deserving man approaches you.

If Filipinas are considered Asian, then I am one of those fortunate few Hispanics who's in a serious relationship with an Asian woman.

For starters, I live in Southern California where the Asian-to-Hispanic ratio is close, if not at par. Nevertheless, you don't see too many Asians coupled with Hispanics. This may have much to do with Asian's focus and emphasis on academics. Sadly, the converse tends to be the norm within the Hispanic community.

But back to the OP's point. Miss, I have been attracted to Asian women since I was in my 20's. I am now in my 50's. Admittedly - and to my delight - I have been involved with a few Asian women; mostly Filipinas and a few Taiwanese. In each I found much depth of character, inner and outer beauty, and a very alluring soft and charming grace. What I experience each time was indeed beautiful, intriguing and unforgettable.

My significant other is a naturally beautiful Filipina whom, at 50+, still turns plenty of heads, especially Anglo heads (ha! ha!). I see it all the time. Thankfully, we have found comfort, happiness and love in each other.

Maybe Southern California is a better place for you.

I wish you well.

You wanna talk about rare couples... try spotting an Asian/Black couple. They appear maybe once in a blue moon, if that much. Sexual racism abounds everywhere, unfortunately, so some combinations are almost unheard of.

When I lived in Killeen, I saw those mixes ALL the time. I, too, only see them once in a blue moon in DFW, though.
