saw FTW paper list today of nat'l merit semifinalists in Tarrant Co--lots from Paschal FTWISD which is the norm but Lamar had more than Martin in AISD which was a surprise--Trinity in HEB had 6 or 7 which is a good group and Bell has only 2--
MANY from Denton Academy of Math and Science--we tend to forget that school when we talk excellence in education but it is not an easy admit--so there should be quality scholars there...
scattering of students from the private/parochial schools as well
Interesting reading--probably posted on FTW paper online as well...
