Hi,
My husband, daughter and I will be relocating to the area from Al. soon. I am originally from Cleburne, but moved away years ago. I have no idea what areas are safe and within our budget ($650-$800) for a 2-3bdr 2ba. I have researched apts on apartmentfinder.com and cross-referenced them with apartmentratings.com. I haven't had much luck so far. I did find Overton Park Townhomes to seem somewhat promising. I'm wondering what that area is like. The reviews were good. My daughter is 11. I'd like a place that's kid-friendly and close to city excitement, shopping, eateries, and businesses. Some place with a low crime rate, decent school district, quiet, and clean are the most important qualities. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated. I am so excited to be coming back "home." My husband has never left this state. He is from a small country town and is leery about big city living. I would like him to be as comfortable as possible. I do remember Cleburne/Keene having a home town feel so I'm sure he'll feel right at home!

Where will work be located? Cleburne/Keene is out on the edge of Fort Worth and can be a long drive to downtown...

Cleburn is probably 45 min to hour into FTW depending on your destination

if you are working from home then you can live where you want

We're not moving to Cleburne. That is where I am originally from. I was only saying that to make a point that I am familiar with that particular area as oppose to Fort Worth. I am only wanting to know the best areas within our price range.
