Thanks for that link!

THAT is what I am talking about!

I got goosebumps just looking at the picture!

BLUESKIES49...

Yeah, I know what you mean but considering it's sooo flat anyway, I think I'd rather stand on firm ground and "look" at the view than the ramp!!

Well short of not moving to TX altogether there really isn't much I can do is there...?

Thank you all for the information.
Strangely, and just now pondering it, do you think all overpasses are "roller coasters"? Heck, they are mostly just up-over-down, no bumps to concern you, or me. But stay away from Six Flags in Arlington, that is where your "roller coasters" truly are!

Hey Delta,

I think what it is that one I have a fear of heights and two up until I visited TX I had NEVER seen overpasses literally soooooooooooo high. Perhaps I will become used to it as many of you are eventually...at least I hope so.

Yes, the Texans do things in a big way, a real big way. Good luck!

I find it funny whenever out-of-staters mention the freeways here. I thought these kinds of highways were everywhere? I had an ex-boyfriend who's mother once visited from Indiana and she was absolutely amazed at the overpasses! I didn't understand why, I asked my ex later and he said they don't have that kind of thing over there.

AKF, hon, do not worry about it! You will adapt in no time!
