My family is being stationed at NAS JRB Fort Worth. I am looking for an integrated area with good schools near the base. Can anyone help me? We are looking to rent!

1.)
The area around the entrance to the NAS / WestWorth Village is growing with new stores, Homes, and apartments. Ridgmar Mall is closeby.

2.)
Second Choice would be South Fort Worth Hulen or Bryant Irvin and I-20 area.

3.)
Third Choice and probably the best would be West to Aledo.
Any community west Aledo to Weatherford.
*Please note there Aledo may not be a rental home community
per other entries on this forum but still a wise choice.

4.) Saginaw
Growing community with all amenities closeby.

Check the local schools
Make sure you know what the ISD is
Tx has independent school districts---don't go by city limits or county limits
School ratings r posted on the TEA web site
Just because area has new stores doesn't equate to strong schools
FtWIsd has some decent elementary schools but jr highs and high schools are more problamatic
Paschal is best high school in FtwISD if your student is AP level---always has lots of NM semi finalists

Budget is driving force and Aledo doesn't have many rent houses from what I read
Check realtor.com
It shows homes for rent
Reasonable homes in good areas go fast and u are likely not going to have much choice this time of year
