From what I have heard from people that have bought a Grand Home in the last several years has not been good. Seems now they have to give a pool away w/ each house to get people to buy them. Try looking up the old archives in the Star Telegram and the Dallas Morning News online and see what comes up. You can also pull up court cases that have been filed against them at the county. That will give you and idea of how much trouble they have been in.

Do you have any idea what part of Ft Worth you will be working in? That will make a huge difference for your commute, if you want to stay close to home. All around the Ft Worth area is really growing especially out around Alliance Airport and the Texas Motor Speedway.

We're building in Aledo and we absolutely LOVE our builder. Most of their business is repeat customers and word of mouth. We're using John Askew CO. Let me know if you need the number.
