Without a TON of additional info, it would be impossible for me to recommend a hotel in the Fort Worth area. If you'd like to mention a couple of them you're checking out, we can probably give you an idea of what they're like.

In my opinion, the two best views of the skyline are from the north, where there are several areas far north of Fort Worth where it can be viewed with little or no obstruction. In addition, the view from the Amon Carter Museum off to the west is pretty nice, too.

My trip was postponed due to the Blizzards up North!! Grrr ...

I was born in Fort Worth, but I live near Dallas now. It's a great place. However, its "Old West" image isn't that accurate. For one thing, Fort Worth isn't even in the West -- it's in the South! =]

Well yeah, but "The City where the West Begins" image has been apart of this city's heratage for so long, it's kinda hard to imagine Fort Worth as a genuine southern city. Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Memphis....those are the cities that come to mind when you think of the south.
