We are wanting to build a modern home in Colleyville, Texas. We have hired an architect from Dallas and are ready with the plans. The problem we are running into is finding a General Contractor that builds modern homes in the mid-cities. The GC's that are architect is suggesting, do there work in Dallas and they tell me they can't be on the job site, as much, because of the distance from their other jobs. All of the GC's WE are finding, build homes that are either a Traditional or Tuscan... Does anyone have any recommendations?

This house is under construction in Irving. Call the realtor and find out who the builder is, or go to look at the house. Its in a gated community but if you tell the gate guards you want to drive thru and look to see what houses are for sale they will take a copy of your driver's license and let you drive thru. **I think is sooo funny that contemporary homes are not popular so the realtor has described the house as mediterranean

Other ideas:

MLS#: 11954766 is a contemporary house in Fort worth and the listing info names the architect. Perhaps phone that architect and ask for Tarrant County builder recommendations.

Check out Norwich Homes. Norwich-homes.com They are a small private builder and customize to your desire from what I am told. May not have done modern yet, but its not hard to follow plans.
