Hi there!

I am moving to work in Independence Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177 area from Minneapolis. Would be great if you can help me with these.

1. School – Which would be the best school district within 40 miles radius from 76177
I have a 8 year old boy going who's going to be in school and the foremost priority is to get to the BEST school district.

2. Home – Which neighbourhoods are affluent and best within 40 miles radius from 76177.
I have $400k max budget. We really want something with .5 acre or more. Must be super safe neighborhood and family friendly.

Basically the following criteria are what I am looking at

3. Distance - less than 45 minute (35 miles commute time) from Independence Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177

4. Schools - Top notch public schools for elementary through High school around Independence Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177

5. 4-5 BR house, 3,000 - 4,000 sq ft Priced under $400k Would like a 1/2 acre lot but most seem smaller.

Your Help is much Appreciated

Thank You!!

Northwest ISD or Carroll ISD are both strong school districts that would be a good commute for your work location.

That means look in Roanoke, Trophy Club or Southlake. Southlake will be challenging in your budget.
If none of those work for you, then focus on Grapevine or Colleyville (which is Grapevine Colleyville ISD). Colleyville with also be difficult in your budget.

you might get others who recommend Keller, but I have known a few people who found their schools to be a terrible disappointment.

All of the above are excellent communities.

ISD=Independent School District.

I don't know about the .5 acre, but Flower Mound is a strong school district.
