What are the "good" versus "bad" areas of FW, in general, and what is the area like where the American Airlines Training & Conference Center is located (4501 Highway 360 South)? I'm not getting any response on my thread. :-(

That's right next to Euless. It's an ok area with mostly older homes, and a bunch of apartments.

I'm sorry I can't get specific with the good vs bad areas. There are just so many, and they often vary street by street.

Thanks! :-) Should we shoot for Euless? We're both pretty tough world travelers. I think if some gang kid tried to rob us, we'd laugh at them. No sense in being afraid. In my experience, there is no place this side of the grave that is really "safe."

Euless is fine for the most part. Even in the "not so good" areas south of 183 and along Euless Main, you won't be held up at gun/knife point. You may, however, have your car stereo stolen. As you say, just have situational awareness.

OP, Weatherford might be worth checking out. You would be 35 min fm Granbury for the clinic, access to lots of senior activities in town, right under an hour to Stephenville, and around 35 min to the Greek church in FW. I know nothing about the rental market in Weatherford, but until a month ago lived very near there. There is a big new apt complex S of Wford, N of I-20 but I don't remember the name. They are building an Assisted Living (ALU) and a medical plaza in front of it. It might be too $ because it is actually located in Aledo ISD, but it's a good location for you so check it out if you are willing to live in an apt.

The commute from Weatherford to the AA Training center will be HORRIBLE!!! That's a really long drive, plus a lot of traffic to sit through. I would not recommend it.

There is a Greek Orthodox Church in Euless. I go to their festival every autumn. I think the parish name is St. John?

I was responding to the OP, not Happypants3235, who is interested in Euless. OP = VA Clinic, Greek Church, grandkids in Stephenville. I would also never recommend a Weatherford to Euless commute!
