Chisholm Trail Parkway development adds entertainment complex.

The Chisholm Trail Parkway development in southwest Fort Worth has landed a new entertainment complex.

StreetLevel Investments has announced an agreement with Dallas-based ShowBiz Cinemas to open a 65,000 square foot site in the spring of 2017 near the intersection of Chisholm Trail Parkway and McPherson. The opening will coincide with the beginning of the blockbuster movie season, according to a ShowBiz Cinemas release.

West and southwest Fort Worth = boom town with the Chisholm trail parkway development and Walsh ranch development. The two developments should help us reach the million mark. I suspect traffic is getting ready to get a lot worse on the Westside.

Well that was the purpose of the CTP.

But it looks like there will be more highway expansion in the next couple decades.

Construction to begin in April of next year for 737 acre Fort Worth Morning Star development. Fort Worth long anticipated expansion into Parker county has officially started. I pretty much envisioned Fort Worth would start expanding West and southward once Far North Fort Worth land was developed. The new housing developments couldn't have happened a better time considering how hot the DFW real estate market is.

Construction to begin by April on Morningstar development west of Fort Worth | The Star-Telegram
