That vacant lot just north of the KRESS Building, between Main and Houston.

This has been on the boards for about a year, now. I believe the developers are waiting on the Sanger Building to convert into a hotel, first.

You can find it on this site under portfolio:

Portfolio

This fourteen story building will be new construction, to house a Marriott AC hotel. The hotel will have 180 guest rooms, plus restaurant, bar and meeting functions. A roof top pool/amenity deck will also be part of the hotel. Retail space on the sides of the building, at grade level, will allow for a retail link to Sundance Square, which is a half a block away. The modern design uses a combination of materials to allow the new building to blend with the adjacent historic structures. The side is very urban and is 60’x 200’ in size.

The future of berry street by TCU link. The renderings show a very dense berry street in the future.

I read it but I just want to be sure I understand it. So they want to begin to address Berry St on the east side of McCart? If so then great! It is literally a whole different city on that side.

Share some of whatever you guys are smoking.

200 W. Berry is a mile away from Hemphill and Biddison, so try again.

And 200 W. Berry is a mixed use commercial building. The car lots on that page are somewhere else, as in not anywhere near Berry or Hemphill and Biddison.

I have no idea why I posted that.

But it's going up.

Well it maybe just be some random business. I couldn't find nothing on the FW Architecture Forum either so it may not be a big deal. But I know they have already began expanding the sidewalks over here for the Berry Urban Village that the city has planned.
