Hoping someone can help us out. We are looking at a possible move to Ft. Worth (Job Relocation) .
Have a (gifted) super intelligent middle-schooler , who also plays a whole lot of Basketball. Where would you suggest we look? So far the suggestions have been Aledo and Keller. Job location is more to the south side of Fort Worth. Any help appreciated!

Keller is north of Fort Worth, so unless you want to spend your day driving and sitting in traffic, that won't be a good idea.

Aledo would be ok. It's on the west side of Fort Worth.

Many people I know live in Burleson and they really like it. It is to the south of Fort Worth.

If your job is to the south/southwest side of FW, Aledo would be my first choice. With traffic and construction, Keller is too far, imo.

Crowley schools do not have a good reputation.

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of my coworkers live in Burleson and a re very happy there.

Burleson area is great if you're looking for south Ft Worth. Crowley is very close to Burleson. Some Crowley schools are better than others. My kids are not school age yet so I'm not real familiar with the schools in the area. We live just north of Crowley/Burleson right off 35 and love the area.

If job is in South Ft Worth I would not choose Keller. Too long a commute, I live in Keller and we really like it and the school district but, if job is south of 30 its not worth it.
Aledo, has great schools and a very strong sports program...Football is king there. I love the area it was just a bit too rural when we moved here. It has grown a lot since then.
I'd also look at Burelson, Mansfield and parts of Arlington (esp those that feed to Martin HS)
