I posted in the Texas forum //www.city-data.com/forum/texas...childrens.html but thought I'd try here.

Looking to live about a 15 minute (in traffic) distance away from the medical district. And want to keep the cost of a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom less than 1400 (including a washer and dryer and parking). Is this possible? Or would looking further out be worth it? Any suggestions on complex names or area would also be very useful.

The best thing you can do is contact an apartment locator. You should be able to get something pretty decent for $1400 a month. The apartment hunter can tell you the best deals around. Amazingly enough, not very many apartment complexes have full size washer/dryer connections, though. There is a nice complex that is very popular that has them just off I-30, not far from Ridgmar Mall. It is called The Place. From there you would be about 15-20 minute easy drive to the medical district.
