Hi all,
I live in an apartment complex in Mansfield Tx. I have lived here 6 years & we have had snow in those years but not like the past few days.
The people in the office have not been here, I understand that, but yesterday they were here & they knew the weather & that snow was on its way & no one either yesterday or today has come to put salt down or shovel, you cant even get out of the apartment to walk my dog!!
Does anyone know if they are responsible or who I can contact about this situation?? Thanks!!

I am sure the apt complex is responsible for doing things like that but also pretty sure the people who work there aren't used to these conditions--
plus it costs money outside the usual budget items
in our situation--we have home--we got some extra kitty litter to use if we need help getting to mailbox
otherwise we are in until it melts (I hope)

When I lived in an apt complex (granted, North Carolina, not Texas), they didn't bother with clearing sidewalks. For heavy snows, they did run a plow thru the drive but that was it. I would just walk in the grass instead of on the sidewalk so as not to slip on the icy concrete. They certainly never shoveled the sidewalks!

Luckily, with the sun out, things are melting very quickly here. We're in Aledo and our sidewalk and driveway are 99% melted now. Lots of sun!
