Howdy all,

My wife and I will be moving to FW in a few months in preparation for grad school at TWU.

I'll be the full time student, again, and she'll get to be the money maker. She's a nurse, so we're interested in finding a decent place to live that's central to TWU and a hospital or two.

Any ideas???

I've already been informed that TWU is pretty much in the hood. So "fairly close" is good enough. Nothing over 30-40 minutes. Hopefully closer....

Thanks,
Howitser

Do you mean Texas Woman's University? Or Texas Wesleyan University? If it's Texas Wesleyan, YES, it is very much "in the hood" and you don't want to live too close! The Arlington Heights neighborhood just north of I-30 has cute houses and some are affordable. The FW hospital district is just south of I-30 on 8th Avenue, so that would be an easy commite.
