Yesterday, I saw an old episode of "COPS"-probably from the early 1990s. I had seen the episode a number of yeas ago and always wondered where it was filmed. I saw it again yesterday and it was a Fort worth episode.I'm really curious as to where it was filmed and what the area looks like now. In case any of you have seen-and remember-the episode, and can identify the location, I'll do my best to describe it (it,aired at appx. 4:30PM EST on July 4):

Its the first segment of the episode. Police arrive at a very run-down motel. they approach a Honda Accord hatchback, and the driver takes off. He drives into one of the buildings, then slams into a vending machine.Police found weed in the car. The buildings were crude, wooden structures, 2-3 units, in very poor shape. At least half looked boarded up.

My guess is that the complex was probably demolished shortly after filming. I do not live in the area but I have wondered about the location-and what became of it-for years.
