My husband is being stationed in Fort Worth. We are looking for good neighborhood's with good schools. Our budget is under 200,000. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Do a search here since this topic has been discussed MANY times.

Short answer: AVOID White Settlement and Fort Worth ISD. Their schools are not good.

Benbrook is a popular option, and so is Aledo (your price range will be tough there.) You might find something in Azle.

Developments I'd suggest:

Trailwood
Terrace Landing
Sendera Ranch
Eagle Ranch

Both off Old Decatur Road - close to schools and shopping.

Stay NORTH of Loop 820!

First place that comes to mind is Lake Worth/Saginaw area.
Then perhaps Willow Park, Weatherford, Aledo.

Eagle Mountain/Saginaw area. We've been very happy with the schools that feed into Boswell High School and have quite a few military families in our neighborhood (we are a former military family too). The neighborhoods around Willow Creek Park are the ones I'd recommend...The Dominion, The Courts at Willow Creek, Willow Vista, The Commons at Willow Creek (not on the park, but just down the road). If you have any questions, feel free to PM me

Sendera Ranch to base gate can be 45 minutes plus. Traffic out of this subdivision monster is also an issue.
