Arlington is the third largest city in the DFW area. Like all cities there will be some areas that are unsafe. There are lots of great areas to live in Arlington though and many things about the city that make it a great place to live and raise a family. I find it offensive that a real estate agent would have such an attitude towards an entire city.

OK, this thread is kind of messed up.
OP said his job is at SW Loop 820 and 35W.
SW Loop 820 is a very non-local way of saying interstate 20.
Most of the replies are assuming it's north loop 820... it's not.
(Someone already pointed this out, but it was ignored)

With that in mind, look at Burleson and Aledo. Maybe even off of Chisholm Tollway south of 20.
