My son's school is interested in offering optional after school group instrument lessons if I'm able to find a suitable vendor. The music teacher and I are hoping that if it's popular we can use it as evidence that the school needs a band or orchestra. Does anyone know of a company or teacher I could contact?

Thanks.

Are you at private school or public?
If you are public then I would think the band director at middle or high school could offer suggestions
In HEB there was list of approved tutors for subjects like math or English that parents could check if they wanted extra help for a child--
The district office kept it I think

Since you are TCU alum you might also call the music Dept at TCU and check if qualified students do tutoring...
And just because someone is gifted musically s/he is not always good teaching children

It’s a private school. We want to offer after school group instrument lessons to see if there’s interest in starting a school program

As a fellow TCU alum (I graduated just a few days ago) I completely agree. One of my best friends, who is in the music education program there, did some tutoring on the side, even though she didn't do it through the School of Music or anything.
