Anyone letting your pipes drip?
Out of town and didn't realize it would be so cold tonight

Yes. I'm at my parents place in Georgetown (by Austin) we are dripping her inside pipes because it's going to be 13 degrees. But we covered the outside ones.

Yes our outside faucets have thermal covers---we put those on earlier--

We asked good friend to go over with her SIL and open the doors below sinks and set faucets and others to drip
Have utility sink in one of our garages and while the pipes are technically on an inside wall--the other side is a bedroom, the garage itself is unhealed so they set that one to drip as well

I am most worried about a rain head fixture in our first floor master--the space that pipe runs through is in the attic and it has frozen before--did not damage because we were home and when we realized it had frozen had plumbers come out--
But if I remember it was even colder at that time...
Don't know if she let that one drip or not...

I hate being out of town at times like this

We didn't let our faucets drip. Only thing is we did was put those covers on the outside faucets. Though we were home and used the water some.
