Dang, but when I passed by there was no fence, I thought maybe they were open during the rodeo.

Oh well, it was my fav place to stop for a bit of food for a picnic at Trinity Park or pick up on the way back home.

I've been going to that location for nearly 20 years and I can't believe it's closed. They easily had the best fried chicken for the price - you can get a 2 pc. meal for less than 5 bucks. They have plenty of other locations, but the one on University was the best.

I drove by today after my trek on the Trinity Trail. I am bereft. There it was, the chain link fencing.

So sad. They are probably going to build condos.
