Can I get some feedback from some of you in the Mortgage Business

Need some help with settling a little debate on effective business procedures.
I've been in the Mortgage business for over 20 years , owned companies , managed companies, sold loans,
funded a lot of loans etc. Someone in our office is pushing that the Loan Officers do everything right up front
so that all the processors have to do is to submit it to underwriting. I believe this is counter productive and takes valuable time away from my loan officers that produce performing multiple tasks that take up their time in originating while the processors do work hard they don't do anything until a loan has been approved other than scanning package and then sending it to underwriting. This is killing me guys, just killing me.

I need some help here

Anyone out there than can help with some feedback ?
