I'm taking my family to May Fest for the first time this coming Sunday since my son is performing with his hip hop dance class. I was wondering if anyone had advice regarding where to park and could tell me about how much stuff (food, activities, etc.) costs when we get there. Thanks.

I have not been for some years, but maybe their website will be helpful:

Hope it doesn’t rain. We went one year and it was mud everywhere...

Bring a small flashlight if you have to be there after dark. Lighting in the park, especially around the port-a-potties is very poor.

Probably will run a shuttle from Farrington Field. The park is typically closed off, at least the sidewalk, a couple weeks before the festival.

I used to inline skate out there and it would always tick me off that a public area was closed off so the Junior League or whomever could use it.

I remember the hail storm out there one year, about 20 years ago, when lots of folks were seriously injured from hail.
