Hello! I moved to Godley about a year ago and I've just bought a pair of quad skates to start learning. The thing is, there are zero sidewalks here and not a decent paved lot to be found. I have a car so driving up to Fort Worth isn't a problem for me, I just have no idea where to look. I'd like to find some good paved trails to skate or maybe an outdoor inline hockey rink to practice in!

If you're in Godley, you're probably about a 30 minute drive from the Art Cowsen Trailhead for the Trinity Trails that's on the spillway end of the Benbrook Lake dam. The trail follows the Trinity River into Fort Worth from there and goes on for miles. I would assume that's a great place to skate. I'm not sure about inline rinks. There's one in Bedford where I live, but that's way too far of a drive and I believe it's going to be removed when the park it's in is remodeled in the next couple of years.
