A building is being remodeled around the 500 block of Main Street downtown Fort Worth. When they removed a couple sidings there is a sign of "Stuart & Gene's Studios". Does anyone know what this was?

I have a picture of my grandfather that has Stuart Studios, 513 Main St., Fort Worth, Texas on the back. I'm assuming it was a portrait studio.

My mother worked at this studio and I have been inside of it back in early 60's. It was Stuarts then Stuart-Gene then all I remember is it being called Gene's. It was full photography, oil portraits etc. They also had a sidewalk photographer that took the photos on the street as people went by.

Default Stuart Studio

I have a picture of my father in his ROTC uniform, on the back of it was Stuart Studios 513 Main St.

I was hoping I could find some more info on the studios and if any of the negatives from it still existed, hoping there my be more of him. This was about when he was in high school around 1945 maybe.

I did a search through Google for Stuart studio and found this thread.

My husband died in 2016. He saved a studio photo showing an older couple, which either Joseph Gilbert Sonka or his father, Joseph Wesly Sonka, saved. I would like to know the names of the man and woman in the photo, so I can submit it to the SONKA FAMILY PHOTOS COLLECTION. So far, no one can identify the couple in the portrait. Stamped on the back: "Azle NEWS" and "Reorder No 16832, STUART STUDIO, 508 Main Street, FT. WORTH, TEXAS 76102"
