Hi. I am looking for recommendations for a good, reliable, reasonably priced general contractor to help me with a kitchen and bath remodel. I won't be moving plumbing, but pretty much everything else will be changed so need someone who can handle the electric, framing, tile, etc... themselves or sub it out to a reliable individual. The home is in Overton West Addition. If you have any pictures of their work, it would be much appreciated as well. :-)

We're looking at a major remodel next year. Of the contractors I've spoken to, have been really impressed with Bill Stanley, owner of Acreco Construction. Not sure I'm allowed to post contact info, but you can google him.

bumping this up because I am starting the process of getting bids. I am contacting the two that were recommended above, but does anyone else have a good contractor they can recommend for kitchen and bath renovation? I'd like to get 4 or 5 bids.

Joe Nicotra
Mid Cities Renovations
Google him—
He did a renovation for our house in Bedford about 10 yrs ago
Good tile guy himself—good w/colors—had to match stain colors w/our wood trim (we didn’t paint it)when we laid new tile and had to replace baseboards...

Went out of his way to help me with choices I need to make
Had a great granite contractor for us—
We bought the slabs and this guy and his crew did two bathrooms, a bar upstairs w/half bath and a kitchen. Upstairs the bar had a SOLID run that was more than 4 ft long with an L angle
Might have been easier and less granite to make the cut but it was impressive to see it in one piece—and they had to haul it upstairs w/a come-back...

He rebuilt our master shower after taking out old tile showed termite damage
You could use it for a storm shelter now...
