We are planning buy our first home in Fortworth, TX. We saw Lennar homes at Caraway-Vista, Haslet, TX. Want to know is Lennar homes are good to go with? In the same community we have Taylor Morrison builder too but we have price variation between them. Also Lennar house is Read to move in and Taylor one we should go for builtin. Please let me know your opinion on these 2 builders.

Fort Worth is two different words. Haslet is a very rural area. lennar home's do have some negatives. There are some other posts from people who had negative experience. The house build itself isn't very good. Sometimes cheaply made.

Every new build or existing home can have problems, most do not. If you elect to go new build as I have on 3 occasions

Use a buyers agent as a realtor

Hire a home inspection company to inspect at MULTIPLE stages, generally when permits are required. Then get the builder to fix what your inspection finds, follow up with a re-inspection before the builder proceeds

By using a realtor as a buyers agent, they can make this happen in the purchase contract

Yes, you will be a pain in their tail, but it's your money and your future home, to the builder, it's a job site
