My gkid has been invited to some elaborate Sweet 16 parties and her 16th birthday will be coming up this Fall.

Her parents don’t have deep, deep pockets but want her birthday to be special and happy for her. Of course her grandparents will help with funding needs but we are not ostentatious people....

Any ideas for venues in the mid-cities area? The school she attends is on the North Arlington/N. FTW border. Our hotel condo in Dallas has the perfect setting and we have reserved our party rooms, but I’m concerned about teens driving to downtown Dallas for an event when they all live in Grapevine, Arlington, Bedford, Fort Worth, Kennedale and Colleyville...

What is the budget and what sort of party does she want to have? How many are expected?
