And you apparently don't know what sarcasm is.

OK so now I'm like totally confused. Was that comment sarcastic, as well?

Or maybe I just don't know the difference between a major city and a "MAJOR" city.

IDK we just are super-happy with Weatherford. 31k population. just a 20 minute or so ride to Fort Worth. I've live much of my life in Fort Worth and wish we'd moved here sooner.

Had to drive to FTW yesterday and today for medical reasons - husband refuses to give up his doctor at Clearfork - and it was a nice drive. We combine the trip with a Costco run and visit the dry cleaners I refuse to give up (Twin Kell).

BUT we are always sort of suprised at the traffic in FTW, crazy drivers, etc.

No regrets about escaping that rat race.

You don't know what a major city is in general if you're calling Arlington one...

And to the poster living in Weatherford:

Fort Worth is a large city, but if you're calling this a "rat race", then you definitely should stay in a small town.

Arlington is the worse with roads. Takes them forever to complete because it’s possible the mayor is using his construction company to do it so they are milking it. Meanwhile same road on the Grand Prairie side gets fixed immediately and actually gets fixed.

But heaven forbid we gotta have total control grid when there’s a game at the stadiums... cones set up to direct you into the stupidest routes where you can’t get anywhere, making traffic worse. If they left the roads the way they were designed to operate there wouldn’t be this issue.

It’s no wonder all the businesses by the stadium are all shut down because everyone got annoyed with the control grid cones and said ********** Im not going to this part of town to eat or shop. It’s so obvious and sad at the same time.
