I was in the area a few days ago and across from six flags by the roller coaster there used to be a restaurant I think it sold burgers? It’s abandon now and was curious the name of that place? There was also a seafood restaurant very close to the old Arlington stadium it was walking distance and also forgot that name. Visited Arlington a lot when I was young but remember those places.

The burger place was Khaki’s. Similar to Fudrucker’s. There was also one at Little Road and I-20. I think the name of the seafood restaurant was Mr. Catfish. Pappadeaux is in that building now.

Speaking of old Arlington restaurants I haven't been to in forever- wonder if Catfish Sam's on Division is still good? They have a great website. Dang those hushpuppies were the best.

I went back in the winter and it was still really good. They've caught a little flack on social media since reopening during the pandemic for changes to their service. Instead of the parade of all you can eat appetizers, you get a portion of hush puppies, cole slaw, beans, and the vegetables with your entrée. If you want more, you have to pay for it. Waste was a big problem (of course) and they said this was giving them a huge monthly savings. It didn't hurt them at all. They were open for about 2 weeks and then took a 10 day vacation to recover and hire more staff to handle the crowd.

The burger place by Six Flags was a Goff's back in the 80's and 90's.
