New job in Southlake.

Single.
Don't care about schools.
Looking for max $350k house.
5 beds. Privacy.

Nice to have: pool, 3 car garage, 1/4 acre
Pool would be nice.
Decent commute (under 30 mins, 15 mins ideal)

Where do you recommend I look to live?
Thanks!

I put your criteria in Realtor.com and found a few houses in North Richland Hills but all were pending; and one house in far north Arlington that was still for sale, and a few others pending.

But you can keep your eyes out in:

North Richland Hills
Keller
Watagua
Hurst
Bedford
Euless
Roanoke
Far North Arlington (Zips 76006 and 76012)
Fort Worth (look in North East, be careful of areas...)
Northwest Irving

Don’t even try in Southlake, Grapevine, Trophy Club, Westlake or Flower Mound

That price max is going to be tough with all of those criteria.

There are currently 26 homes in Grapevine between $300 and $350, so your price range won't be a problem there.

What will be a problem in that price range in most of the suburban areas we've mentioned is the 5 bedrooms, 3 car garage, pool, and .25 acre lot. You'd need to go up to around $500k to get those things. The vast majority of single family homes in those areas are 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage. You may be able to find a 4 bedroom in that price range.

Agree, the price is very doable EXCEPT for the five bedrooms.

Just switching to 3 or 4 bedrooms will expand your search quite a bit and will move you into more desireable areas. It won't move you into Southlake though.
