Went to downtown Fort Worth, Stockyards, and Eagle Mountain Lake and absolutely no one was wearing a mask. What in the world is going on? Does no one believe in the pandemic there? Churches also have in person services and are packed.

Huh? I'm in NE Tarrant County, and everyone here follows the law and wears masks. You don't have to wear a mask when you are outside or further than 6 feet away from people. So if you are out hiking at the lake, you don't need to wear a mask.

There was a huge backlash against state and local government when churches were shut down. There is currently no Texas state or local restriction against in-person worship services.

Maybe the groups of people you saw were all families from the same household?

id ignore the OP, seems to fishing or trolling. After all what good does him or her asking this question on this forum do? If he has an issue with somebody not wearing a mask, he can address them personally. Just my .02 cents.

I’m not trolling, I’m simply sharing my observation of several trips to FW and shocked about lack of mask wearing.

Why would people wear them outside?

If you're outdoors and not within 6 feet of other people, there is no reason to wear a mask. Here's the CDC guidelines for visiting parks and outdoor recreation.
