Hey Friends,

Looking to make the big move to Texas have much contemplating. Did some research and believe Fort Worth is the best place to go. Anyone know the best place around the Fort Worth Area where I can find a house with a decent amount of land for farming (2-5 acres)?

I'm a New Yorker who moved to Houston about 8 years ago and am now moving up North to the Ft. Worth area myself this Summer. We're looking in the Flower Mound/Keller/Grapevine/Coppel area north of Ft. Worth.

What part of NY are you from? I was born and raised in NYC (Lower East Side of Manhattan).

BTW, you're going to love Texas......best decision I ever made for my family was getting away from the money pit that is NY!

What do you want to grow and how much do you want to spend?
for 5 acres, I'd probably look at the outskirts of Ft. Worth area.
Places like Decatur, Boyd, Azle, Weatherford, Aledo, Cleburne, Burleson.
