I'm a single female in her 30's who has finally decided to find permanent position in her current health professional field. I have a few job prospects scattered about the metroplex.
1 in richardson
1 in watauga (fort worth side)
2 in irving

so far I'm interested in the watauga job which meets my job needs but I need advice finding somewhere to live that's commute-friendly, single-friendly and safe.

thanks

My mom lives in Watauga. It's a very safe small city. It's still in the city so obviously you can't just leave your doors unlocked and stuff sitting out etc. but overall it's affordable and safe. She bought a house there 8 years ago and has never had any problems with break-ins or anything really. Price range for houses in her neighborhood are $75-$100k, so it's not like it's a ritzy area, but it's safe and well kept.

Keller and the Summerfields area of Fort Worth are really close to Watauga too if that's where your job will be.
