Hello.
I am looking to learn German for a year and surprise my mother and grandmother who is German by speaking with them next summer (2016). I prefer hands on, classroom training. Does such exist? Community College maybe?

Community Colleges are a great idea-- I am still new to the area and a google search of "Community colleges learn German Dallas Ft-Worth, TX" Wasn't too helpful. What schools are around here?

Thanks!!!

Tarrant County College...though based on the current scheduling online, only at the NorthEast campus in Hurst.

TCU has some languages thru their Extended Education offerings but I don't think the Fall schedule is online yet.

I just saw this thread, even though it's a year old. You may want to check into the following 2 schools, which offer classes for adults:

The German School of Dallas -The German School of Dallas (offers classes in Far North Dallas and Southlake)

Course Offerings | Dallas Goethe Center
