Well...looks like it is time to change. I was on a GREAT Reliant plan and have to say they seemed to be really good, but got a notice that my 6 month program ends(.109/pkw) in August and not willing to continue with a 70% increase of .17/pkw. Soooo..Im looking for a new provider.

Does anyone have any info on Cirro Energy?? They have the lowest cost that I have been able to find at .15 but like everyone else, I want my cake and eat it too .

I did a cost analysis from powertochose.org, so that is where I am getting my numbers.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

when I called TXU they had better rates over the phone than on the internet..we went with them.
This last bill (although it was high) partly my fault and I have RE-ADJUSTED our themostats...first summer in DFW!
But our rate avg was 12.78 cents online they say it's 15 cents so it may be worth a call.
OUr neighbors have another company and thier rate is 18 cents.

Make sure you ask them if the rate applies all year (same rate for each month of the year) or if it changes during high usage rates. Some companies have a different rates for certain times of the year.

I have Green Mountain at .13 kwh. No monthly fees. Good customer service. And best of all, it's power from renewable resources. I'm locked in at .13 kwh for two years. Beware of TXU's monthly "customer charge," which I think is $5.64 or something like that. Some companies also have adjustable rates where they can inflate your rate at anytime due to market fluctuations.
