We use Candlelight Farms in Burleson.

They are wonderful. They took my daughter when she was 3. She's now 5 and has really good skills. In fact, she recently placed at Nationals.

actually my daughter's interest piddled out. Mom's however ( that's me ) exploded. I was able to find a private facility in N fort worth /haslet to board and train at. It's 10 - 12 mins away .Unfortunately, it will be squeezed out soon due to development and I am sure we will be having to find a new barn . The most likely area to relocate to will be Argyle, which is unfortunate since while mileage wise is not too bad... with the increase in traffic over the last years would make the drive 45mins or more one way. I guess i should be thankful , a friend drives over an hour one way! I do 3- day eventing and compete, so If i want to continue to do that i need to be a a barn that has a trainer and the facilities ( since I don't have a trailer to take my horse anywhere).

Glad you're still doing it. We're on the WPCSA circuit. Maybe we'll see you at a competition sometime. Just look for the dad and 5 year old girl in matching riding suits.
