I'm sick of wasting money on rent and is considering buying a house in the near future. I like living in Euless which is a easy commute to my work place in Arlington (360 going against traffic).
I'm looking for 3 bedroom/single family home/2 bath room
price range 150,000-250,000.
safety and aesthetically looking neighborhood is a must

thanks

The further north you are, the better. The neighborhoods around Glade Road and Baze are nice, and I know of at least 2 for sale right now there that fit your criteria!

Or you might want to check out the South Euless neighborhood of Morrisdale. Which has some really nice older homes. Off of Pipeline

Actually, you're right. However, I could deal with South of Harwood for maybe 1/4 mile. But really anything South of 183 is not what I would call a good place to live; at least as far as crime goes.

In your price range, you may take Grapevine into consideration. You have easy access to 360.

Here are some resources:

Bedford stuff

BPD (broken link)

Euless PD

I'm not sure I'd live south of 183. There's a few neighborhoods I've seen that could entice me. There's also some stretches that look pretty, hmmm, tired.

HEB has done a good job this year with the TAKS scoring and some of the schools south of 183 have raised their scores--inspite of the difficulties they face
my reservation is that of resale--even if you found a house that you could live with, I just don't think there is lot of market upsurge S of 183
the new development that is going in on 157 in north arlington will be zoned for heb ISD
that is going to be a burden to the district--they have been trying to shift kids from as many schools s of 183 as they can to avoid having to build a new elem school--which would mean a tax/bond issue and we are near cap now...
but don't think they can do it without that...
Arlington dumped a big one on us with the density figures for that development...
