Does anyone know where there is a pumpkin patch close to the Southlake/Grapevine area?

are you talking about the volunteers who paint pumpkins as charity event for Cook's (I think)
or just a place that has Halloween type stuff
lots of towns in the area have "punkin patches" around Halloween/Fall Festival time
Colleyville, Flower Mound are two I know of

I'm not sure about pumpkin patches where you can actually pick pumpkins.

If you are looking for somewhere to go for the kids to run around, buy some pumpkins and take lots of pictures go to either the FM Pumpkin Patch or Argyle Pumpkin Express.

Both are within about 5 miles of each other and north of the Grapevine area. For the FM pumpkin patch, take 114w to 377 north, turn east onto 1171 till you get there. It will be on the north side of the road, you won't miss it.

FM - Pumpkin Patch of Flower Mound, TX
Argyle - 11351 Hilltop Road, Argyle

We've been to both of them and will probably visit both again this year. The FM patch will get more of a crowd than the Argyle one.

Corner of Pool and Hall-Johnson in Colleyville. Never heard of one in SL or Grapevine.

yes--we drive past that Pool corner a lot--he has started planting his corn for the maze at Halloween...

there is also a Farmer's Market type of place--more tacky than cute--on Hwy 26 in Colleyville kind of across from where the old KMart was -- they sell pumpkins in Fall and let you take pictures in and amongst them--but there is fee to take the photos...
