We just bought a house in Trace Ridge Subdivision. Any comments good or bad about this addition. I am hoping they have an active HOA, I would love to find out if they have events for kids. Their website doesn't say anything, it doesn't look as if anyone maintains it.

guess that is a clue right there...
how long did you spend looking at the neighborhood in addition to looking at the house--did you drive through it at different times, days of the week...to get idea of whether or not there are families with kids and what ages...is there city park close--what schools are zoned--did you go by there

We was there at several different times of the day and evening. Everyone seemed nice, the community stuff was nice not elaborate but nice. Everyones yards were perfectly manicured. No cars parked on the roads all homes were nice, no low priced homes. There is only 2 for sale in there so that shows something I would say. I guess it's all in where you are moving from. For us we are way moving up, which is what we have been working towards. We saw all the children leave school and walk home, the moms standing on the porches waiting. The website we found may not be the right one, we have never had an HOA so it's all new to us. We just wanted manicured yards and nice homes. My best friend live in Lantana so if I need neighborhood parties for the kids they have it and we can run over there. The school for Trace Ridge is Lone star and it is rated exemplory, that comforting. So I guess all that matters is we love it. I can't wait to meet our neighbors, trust me they cannot be worse than what I have now.

I own a home in trace ridge and will tell you that the association is extremely active. Once you move in, you will receive newsletters on a regular basis.

I wanted to find out how busy Trace Ridge Parkway is for traffic. Since the road goes all the way from North Tarrant to Heritage Trace - I am mildly concerned about that road being heavily used. If there is any other information you can provide about the neighboorhood and/or the HOA, it would be appreciated.

There was an incident involving sexual indecency with a child that was reported in Mansfield New Mirror on 10/16 that had happened in that area. Does anybody have any additional information on this matter? It is concerning and we must all be aware of it!
